Dynamic Planning of Construction Site for Linear Projects

The area of dynamic planning construction sites is unexplored. Although there a large amount scientific interest in the literature site layouts, with different methodologies developed, studies on relocation do not exist. purpose this study to cover gap and contribute body knowledge by presenting for first time its importance linear projects validate methodology through real case studies. decisive variables that determine appropriate locations costs arise from these choices are analyzed. choice maximizes production rate thus minimizes further investigated. An algorithm has also been developed estimates cost transportation equipment used project enables investigation “ideal” location cost. examined according schedule at intervals determined work progress. optimization aims minimize derives non-productive activities. validity proposed model tested four motorway projects. A sensitivity analysis concerning sequences methods reveals remarkable changes fluctuations depending size. outcomes show second, third, fourth projects, demanded, profit gained ranges 1 1.5% total budget Financing expenses could be covered profit. presented derived infrastructure more sensitive approach because their size both affect results.
